The Loft Conversion Process

Allied Welsh guide you through every stage of your loft conversion, leaving nothing to chance:

  Allied Welsh surveyor will plan a room to your specification FREE of Charge, and give a written fixed-price quotation

  Contract agreed, Allied Welsh Architect calls to house for survey, and the plans are drawn

  Plans approved by customer

  Necessary planning permission and building regulation approval obtained

  In-house steel fabrication and joinery departments prepare your beam and staircase.

  Scaffold erected and skip delivered

  Craftsmen arrive on site as agreed, 8.30am approx and all materials are delivered

  Velux Roof Window put in and heavy materials enter via new loft window

  Loft constructed - fire proofed - insulated - electrics fitted

  Fire-proofing carried out downstairs (if necessary)

  Stairs fitted

  Loft plastered

  Completion Certificate from Total Building Control sent out for safe keeping
